The New Gas Consortium Quiluma & Maboqueiro (NGC Q&M) Project foresees the installation of 2 (two) offshore unmanned wellhead platforms (WHP) and an associated export pipeline to an onshore Gas Treatment Plant (GTP), along with the related shore approach.

Q&M fields are located South of Congo River, on the boundaries of Block 1 and 2, offshore Angola, approximately 50km from Angola LNG Project. The fields area encompasses approximately 463 km2 at 84m of water depth.

NGC reservoir consists of several layers bearing of gas and condensate. The reservoir multiphase stream is collected from each wellhead platform by natural depletion and sent onshore.

Each platform is designed to produce the maximum expected flowrate from each single reservoir while onshore facilities are designed to process a raw gas plateau rate of 412 MMscfd and peak condensate and production water flowrates of 20.500 and 4.400 sbbld, respectively.

Q&M platforms are designed to accommodate wellheads and utilities to production support. Maboqueiro platform is in a daisy chain configuration with Quiluma platform, so that Maboqueiro production is collected onto Quiluma platform where the fluids are commingled in the 26” export multiphase line and routed to shore through a dedicated sealine.

Platforms are conceived as unmanned and independent locations, both supervised and controlled by the continuously manned CCR, located at GTP.

Project comprises the following pipelines and battery limits between onshore and offshore assets:

  • 1 (one) 26” multiphase pipeline from Quiluma to GTP;
  • 1 (one) 16” multiphase pipeline from Maboqueiro to Quiluma;
  • 1 (one) 4” MEG pipeline from GTP to Quiluma;
  • 1 (one) 16” gas export pipeline from GTP to Angola LNG;
  • 1 (one) 10” condensate pipeline from GTP to Angola LNG; and
  • 1 (one) 10” effluent pipeline from GTP to offshore, about 2km far from the coastline.

 

Onshore GTP is a conventional gas and condensates plant aiming for Q&M reservoir fluids treatment, to deliver gas and stabilized condensates to Angola LNG. Multiphase well fluid from Quiluma WHP arrives onshore via a 26” sealine (42km long).

 

 

General Services provided: Audit services as a legal requirement for official issuance of Operating License, including the issuing of a report on Commissioning and Start-up activities of the NGC Quiluma & Maboqueiro Project, located in Soyo and on offshore Blocks 1&2 – Angola.
